1. Signing up
Both freelance hosts and businesses can register and create their accounts on the platform for free.
2. Profile Creation
Shopcaster freelance hosts can build their profiles on the platform, highlighting their experience and skills as a live shopping host, and showcase their portfolio samples.
Similarly, businesses can also create a list of profiles of the Shopcaster skill sets they need for different Shopcasts, providing information about their brand and the live shopping events they intend to host.
3. Finding Hosts or Businesses
Businesses can search on Shopchums for Shopcaster hosts offering services for specific products they want to showcase worldwide.
Similarly, Shopcasters can browse businesses looking for those businesses that could use the hosting services they provide.
4. Collaboration
After the selection of a Shopcaster by a business, both parties can collaborate to plan and execute the live shopping event, to increase impact and effectiveness. For instance, the Shopcaster can offer insights into the event's content, style, and format, while the business can guide on the products to be showcased and the event's objectives, with variation as needed.
5. Live Shopping Event Execution
The selected Shopcaster conducts the live shopping event and engages with the audience to showcase the products and generate sales. The business can observe the event and give the Shopcaster feedback as needed, in real-time or in review.
6. Payment
The Shopcaster’s hosting fee is released by Shopchums when the Shopcaster provides the service agreed upon and the Shopcast is completed, and the business confirms that the live shopping event was completed as agreed upon.

Delegate
A Shopchums Delegate is an enthusiastic individual who is committed to connecting businesses with shoppers looking to buy their products through lively and interactive live shopping events.
They are passionate about helping businesses showcase their products in an engaging and fun way. As a Shopchums Delegate, you can refer businesses of all kinds, including retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers, from anywhere in the world to the Shopchums website.
When a business you referred conducts a Shopcast live shopping event featuring their products on the Shopchums platform, you automatically earn a 10% commission on the per attendee view fee paid by the business.
This program is ideal for those who are interested in supporting businesses' growth and success in the digital marketplace, while also earning extra income.
Shopchums Delegate
program works
1. Sign up
Register as a Shopchums Delegate. You must read and agree to the
Delegate
Terms.
2. Referral system
As a Shopchums Delegate, you'll be able to send a unique referral link to an authorized representative for the businesses (which representative authority you must verify at the time you make the referral) that you wish to refer to the Shopchums’ platform, and the authorized representative must then register the business on Shopchums using the form in the referral link.
3. Attendance Commissions
When a business you referred creates a Shopcast live shopping event, you'll earn a commission of 10% of the fees paid by the business for all per attendee views at the live shopping event. Business fees are based on a percentage of the product selling price, which may vary by product and from time to time.
4. Commission Payment
All commissions earned the preceding month are paid out to you monthly on the 15th day of the following month.
5. Analytics
Both the business and the Delegate have permanent access to analytics on the performance of each conducted and completed live shopping event, including the number of attendee views, engagement, and attendee fees paid by the business.

Shopchums has developed a distinctive platform wherein businesses can produce and broadcast Live Shopping Events referred to as "Shopcasts," and the individuals who host these Shopcasts are known as "Shopcasters."
The Shopcaster Program offered by Shopchums is an internet-based platform enabling talented freelancers to offer their services directly to businesses worldwide seeking skilled hosts to present their various Live Shopcast Events.
To participate in the Shopcaster Program, you need to create a Shopcaster account and construct a portfolio that highlights your talents and services. Prospective businesses who want to conduct Shopcasts will then have an opportunity to browse your profile and contact you directly, if your hosting ability fits their needs i.e. if you have expertise relative to a product they want to present in a Shopcast.
Additionally, as a Shopcaster, you can search for and submit proposals to potential business clients who are actively looking to engage Shopcasters who are enthusiastic about their products.
To determine the pricing for your Shopcaster services, consider your expertise in hosting, your level of experience, and the value you offer to your clients.
Additionally, consider the competition in your specific niche by researching other Shopcasters who offer similar services and adjusting your pricing strategy accordingly. By taking these factors into consideration, you can set fair and competitive prices for your Shopcaster services.
To enhance your likelihood of getting hired as Shopcaster, you could improve your chances by crafting a professional profile that includes a portfolio showcasing your prior work.
Additionally, offering high-quality services and providing exceptional customer service will also help. Finally, receiving positive reviews from your clients will further increase your chances of being hired.
To obtain the "Original Shopcaster" badge on your profile, you need to have registered during the prelaunch period and maintain an active profile on the Shopchums Shopcaster platform. Those who meet these requirements will be acknowledged as "Original Shopcasters" for as long as their profiles remain active.
If you have a Shopcaster account on Shopchums, you may not offer your hosting services to businesses not on the Shopchums platform. If You wish to do so, you must first close your Shopcaster account.
To communicate with clients on the Shopchums platform, you can use the messaging system provided by Shopchums.
Absolutely. Most, if not all, businesses are always expecting high quality services, and if you consistently deliver high quality performances, your chances of getting repeat performances, and develop long term relationships with businesses, will increase accordingly.
If a business client is dissatisfied with the Shopcaster services I have previously provided, what steps should I take?
It is crucial to handle the situation promptly and professionally. Use tact and courtesy, and be genuine and diligent in your efforts to identify what the issues are, and if you can agree upon a solution with the Business, implement a resolution as quickly as possible that meets their needs.
It is very difficult to completely avoid problems or misunderstandings that may arise from time to time but your reputation as a Shopcaster is critical; how you deliver your services and deal with and resolve customer issues are a big part of maintaining your reputation.
Shopchums offers multiple payment options, including PayPal, bank transfer, and credit card.
After a business approves the service, you have provided, the payment from the Business is held by Shopchums for a clearance period of 14 days, after which your share is deposited in your commission account on Shopchums. Shopchums will then send your commissions to you on the 15th of every month, via the form of payment you choose. Please see the Commission Account section in the Shopcaster Terms.
You are responsible for paying all taxes applicable in your home jurisdiction. It is advisable to seek advice from a tax expert to ensure that you are accurately managing your tax obligations. Depending on your circumstances and where you live, you may need to pay self-employment taxes and file quarterly tax returns, etc.
